Have you ever noticed this behavior while running AIM without AIM+? You also may want to try upgrading to the latest AIM beta, 4.8.2646. AIM+ was designed with the latest version of AIM in mind. We've tested tons of past versions of AIM with AIM+, but we have noticed some visual abnormalities when using AIM+ with older versions of AIM.
Your problems seem to be similar to those discussed in this thread:

If you indeed have the same problem as they are, please continue the conversation there. If not, reply here and we'll try to fix this issue for you.

sorry it took me so long to reply. umm no thats not the same issue as i have. And i already have upgraded to the new beta, so i dont know whats going on, sometimes when after being minimized i maximize and im and all of a sudden the pointers are just gone, but if you click there they re-appear one by one.
Here's a pic of problem

I get the same problem. Sometimes I lose both scroll pointers (I'll try to get a pic of that).
Doesn't happen in just AIM (or at least I've never seen it happen in only AIM), only when running AIM+.
Not a huge deal though. Even though buttons arent there, if you click where they should be, you can still scroll.

I am running...
Windows 2000(all current update packs)
Aim ver. 4.8.2790
Aim+ ver. 2.2.1 (Build 65)
I can't really say how I can re-create it, because sometimes it happens almost as soon as I start a conversation. I think it MIGHT have something to do with the translucent effects because I usually notice it after a screen fades back. I hope this can help.
