I often use a program called mkwACT to verify files (found at www.etree.org). But when I create MD5 files with hkSFV, the mkwAct software can't verify. Would it have anything to do with the header that hkSFV places in the MD5 file...or is it a problem with mkwACT.
Thanks!

The .MD5 files that hkSFV creates are based on the Unix standard and should be perfectly usable by any other program designed to handle .MD5 files. Unfortunately however, there are a lot of quirky non-standard .MD5 formats being used by other programs. If the one you are using is based on one of these formats it's possible that it is unable to handle standard .MD5 files .
