No Sounds Set in a Clone

Post by Big-O Mark »

I've been using the clone feature pretty frequently for a few months now, and the strangest thing happened today for the first time.

I created a clone, and once it was loaded, none of the AIM sounds were set properly. Every one had <beep> (the 'ding' wave file) as it's setting, and the clone had no idea where to find the AIM sounds. It loaded the "My Documents" directory when I hit browse.

I immediately fixed the problem and fired up another clone to see what would happen. Everything was fine there, as it always had been in the past.

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this, or am I the only lucky one?

Did a clone and went to set up a buddy alert and the only availible sound was the <beep>...the other sounds work like opening and closing doors, etc that are in the 'sounds' of 'im chat' in preferences, only one that was bugged was the buddy alert. i have XP Pro and the latest in aim beta and latest of aim+

i think the problem is with the clone is that it doesnt copy the sound folder to the new directory AIM95_c0
