Ok...who wants to have an AIM profile while logged in using Trillian (not pro)??? The answer...GoodAIM!

Ok, so it takes a little work. The easiest way to ensure that it works is install AIM and log on as the user you want to use in trillian with a profile. Log off. At this point you can uninstall AIM, but don't let it delete the user settings (C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Aim). I don't know the path in Win95/98/ME. Without that directory GoodAIM will crash. Set up Trillian to use a proxy "localhost" on port 11080. Run GoodAIM. Log in to your user account on trillian. Right-click the GoodAIM icon in your system tray and click Edit your profile. Have fun...

Note: GoodAIM does not support multiple connections very well.
