I think it would be great to have a sticky thread for aim hacks/tips/tricks...ill look around for some sources and we can start up a huge list of links.

That would be awesome to get a large list going

I'm sure Big-O forums would get more traffic as well

Just put up an away message log off then back on and poof there you go.

I think I've almost hacked it enough... (Note: I had to get rid of the embedded pictures of Sarah so she doesnt see it and kill me)

i saw all the screenshots and they all had default colors in the bl window. text was black and background was white (not the im box but buddylist window). or maby a newer version has this capability? ill try it out later

That didn't work for me..do you need to not have any IM's, or anything you need to do?

You won't see the away message icon or window... That's what threw me off at least... Try sending your self a IM.

Its working now, but a little differently than you described. I sign off, and then have to go away again. When I click the "I'm Back" window, it closes, but the notepad stays by my name and my away message goes out whenever I get an IM. Its actually kind of annoying...
