DeadAIM 4.0 released!
Moderators: Big-O Ryan, Big-O Mark
It wasn't a hostage situation. I posted a mere hypothetical idea. I obviously never followed through because I had neither the time nor incentive to do it. Plus, I don't really like Michael Dorn. So can you unban me so I can give you my $5 yet?

1. I think Steve, no matter how many times he's banned me, has a right to correct false information about his actions, and not have it be considered an argument.
2. I still don't see why AIM+ and DeadAIM have to be rivals, its just silly. There should be no arguments at all. Different programs, different users, different moderators, etc. I don't go argue with people who drive Fords and say how much better my Dodge is.
3. What's up with this thread? http://discuss.big-o-software.com/viewt ... c&start=60 there's a link to a DeadAIM4 and crack. I can't try it out because I'm at work. Is that real? If so, isn't it not supposed to be there?

The "allow messaging while away' feature doesnt even work correctly. Everytime someone IM's you, they get your away message IM'ed to them. Wow talk about a waste of money.
I think the only program that does that 'chat while away' feature properly is trillian. Even GOODAIM doesnt do it right.
When it comes to logging, DeadAIM still does the "I'll log until you close the window" method. That's great unless you are like me and have a pos computer that crashes from doing the most basic things (winamp, playing a video clip, logging on to the computer). I've never had any of my convo's lost during AIM+'s window clearing feature...So big ups to big-o on that one.
DeadAIM finally has the 'fade to transparent' feature, something AIM+ has had for a long time.
Ok just some random thoughts, I'm bored and the weather sucks outside.

Yes it is a crack. Yes the link is for real. And no, it shouldn't be there. Mark and Ryan haven't been online to remove it--or passed it over without noticing. I got IMed by a "DeadAIM Steve" asking for it to be removed, but I can't do that.Axilla wrote:3. Whether it works or not I'm not so sure about.
