Power just went out..I was sitting in the dark...except for the light from my laptop
. This thing comes in handy more ways than one. Especially since I was online. So see..dial up has one advantage to DSL and Cable!

Yea, theoretically. Since I'm behind a hardware firewall (due to my router), my speeds are slower than that max. But they're still very impressive. I've seen download speeds as high as 900 k/sec without using some sort of download manager.
Currently, my computer has a bandwidth of about 3.5MB/sec.

my theoretical top speed is 20mb/sec i believe...but my cap is at 2mb/sec and it always sits at that...
wish we had optimum way down here in tejas...they're capped higher in both directions
