And um... I swear the playoff table has been changed... I could swear there was a time when only the 1st and 4th placed teams could win the championship.

Its been like that the entire season. in the top 1 plays 4 and the winner plays winner of 2 & 3 for 1st place. The losers of those games battle for 3rd.

I just want to be able to play in the lower part of the play off so I need to get to 8th. I have little hope of making it to 4th place

Its works the same way in the second bracket. Just do the following changes: 1 ->5, 2 ->6, 3 ->7, 4 ->8. The person in 8th place does have a chance of becoming the 5th place winner overall if he wins both playoff games.

I *might* just be able to pull off a major upset.... Dispute lossing against Dan the last time I went against him, I get my second chance next week.
After Matt wipes the floor with Dan this week I get to do the same next week, and end up in the much devoted playoff leg for the championship.
Chinchilla - I said that I would win, and you would be best to fix the problem that was created last week....
hehe

Yeah, but wait... who kicked your butt both times? um... wasn't that me? yep... and both weeks it was by 20 points.
I pretty much clinched a spot in the top bracket after this weekend's game.
And, after looking at the optimal stats for each game, the decision would have gone the other way, except for Matt and Dan which would have ended in a tie. Kind of interesting.

Here's the first round for Big-O Football playoffs. Team names are given. And I decided to not put everyone finished in regular season. The last spot given though came down to which of the three teams had the most points. All in all, good season, and good luck in playoffs.

Just to freak you guys out, i have no clue how well i was doing, until Matt reminded me that i even signed up for that. (I'm l33t... not even sure what i am).

Daniel - First of all Matt has never (in 3 games I believe) came close to a win against me. Second of all for most of the season I somehow managed to get matched against the best team for that week while I was the second best... Very lame...

Well, that's the end of another fantasy football season. It was fun.
Anyone wanna predict who is going to win the superbowl?
I think it will be the Eagles vs Patriots, with the Eagles winning.
