every year I keep forgetting how horrible the VMA's are. I get together with my friends to watch it and we kick ourselves afterwards for wasting 3 hours.

I was personally offended that the camera didnt focus on when madonna kissed christina. I personally think christina aguilera is so much hotter than britney (she would be even hotter if she kept her hair blonde instead of that wacky black crap). uh oh I feel a poll coming on, who is more attractive...christina or britney.

How about having an award for best hip-hop, rap, and R&B awards
YET one for ROCK. wtf???? if they are going to have 3 categories for that kind of music then they should have 3 categories such as rock, metal, punk or something like that.

ah well, just venting again. thanks.

oops i also wanted to add that this kiss was nothing more than a ploy for madonna to boost her career. Britney too perhaps, since she hasnt released an album in a while. How about madonna with her fake british accent. She seems to have become quite anti-american. Or anti-bush at least. But its kinda nice to see that madonna passed the whore torch (and a few std's) to the next generation of whore wannabeez.

I didn't watch them... but I was happy that my boys won the Best Rock Video category. Yay!!!

And personally, I don't like either Brittany or Christina. I think they both act more like they're a little too loose...

Brittney and Maddona are friends according to any media outlet you ask, and that is why the focused on the Brittney kiss and not as much so with Christina.

Also the Brittney kiss was much more intence, so why mess it up by going to something less shocking?

I thought the crowd reaction was quite sad... A (...) kissing a show off... WOW!

I don't see what the big deal is here... Brittney simply did it to get out of her major slump, and Madonna... Well she will do just about anything, and it has little to do with fame or money... After all when you have as much fame and money as her you simply have no use for more... It was just her being a show off...

Call me when Brittney kisses some girl other then Madonna, and I might be impressed (doubtfull though).

my fault, but you know what I meant.

She really is a no talent piece of crap though. She clearly had no idea who David "Bow e" (as she pronounces it) was nor had a clue who metallica was until she was tapped to do the Metallica Icon show.
She also looked like a total fool on stage alongside kelly whale osbourne in their botched attempt to award Duran Duran with some kind of award.

Her band is quite solid though. That's pretty much the only credit I can give them. She's pretty much the weakest link talentwise.
