MD4 support?

Post by KM »

I'd love to be able to create MD4 (i think that's what it's called) values. eDonkey/eMule uses these hash values. I htink this would be a wonderful addition to already the best sfv program available.

It's called an MD5 file. And hkSFV can already do this feature.

Actually MD4 is different from MD5, but I'd rather you guys spend the time on implementing SHA-1. I'm seeing more and more places/programs implementing it so it'd be nice to have all of them in one program. MD4 is already proven to be insecure and nobody uses it anymore due to that fact (eDonkey is still using it simply because the protocol is that old and they don't want to break compatibility)
