Any one removed the spyware to see if AIM it's self still works? Could that be res hacked out?

Actually, you can just tell it to hide the games bar thing and the buddylist is the same size once again.

Works fine after I removed all spyware from my computer. If you try to load any of the games, it just never loads. At least it doesn't reinstall the spyware if you try to run the games.

Also they fixed the bug where the first IM background color displayed incorrectly. Haven't had a chance to test the bug where the wrong SN is displayed locally in the auto-repsonse.

Looks like I'm not installing the new AIM Beta. I'll stick with AIM 5.2.3074 and DeadAIM 3.2.

Ah I dont have that problem I am running K++ no spyware init to be detected. I made adware a segral taste. Everyone monday at 8:00 Adware is run. Ontop of when ever I run it on top of that

The time i tried 4.0 it sucked. I had to register everytime i cloned AIM. I also had to register again when I switched users on XP. So no thanks for now.

the people at m_m may release a patch that will remove the ads, and hopefully the games button. Andi r removed the Spyware with Spybot Serach And Destroy, and AIM works fine. Dumbass AOL...

I tried it out and hated it. I quickly resorted back. I also had to run ad-aware last night to get rid of the wildtangent crap. I'm going to run spybot right now to see if that missed anything.

Yep. KaZaA is like that. It needs its adware to work.

However most program that don't work after adware is removed have been programmed to make sure the adware is there.

AIM Still works... It only needs WildTanget when you play the games... hich i dont play. So no it dossent affect AIM.
