I'll let it go for a while longer. The program has a little problem that's gonna take a while to fix, so it won't need a name for quite some time.

Ok...right now I'm calling it Paradigm. (I know it wasn't even mentioned here.) Preview version available:

Default port is 13000, you can change it in prefs.

ive never used aim minus and i think thats kinda cool and all but dont you think its pointless to remove yourself when they can just add you back in

I would be intrested in how many people are actually using this.

I have just switched my AIM add-on after being very happy for a year, and then refusing to all out change for almost a year.... I don't want to even start to get used to something new at this point (and with the impending release of my current AIM add-on I'm even less inclined

).

I understand many people's affinity for middle_man which is currently much more equipped than my program and in the end will likely still be. The reason I'm writing this is so I have ultimate control over it. Thus, it does what I want it to do in the way I want it to work. No cessation of development/addition of costs will screw it up for me.
