For those who use XP they know that you can open .zip files with winzip, winrar, or any other compression porgram. I was wondering if there is any way to do that with .rar files? So I don't have to install winrar.

The only pssible way to do this would be to download a patch of some sort which in turn would make it stupid to not download winrar instead.
However if you simply don'tlike winrar there are other programs that can open rars.

I know that WinACE can as well. But it's main function is for .ACE files... similar to .RAR.
