this idea must have been suggested a long time ago, but why not put in option to create progress bar, .missing and .bad files. It is a handy thing

hkSFV does have a progress bar while checking SFVs..

Please elaborate.

I think he/she means a file whose name indicates the progress.

mmm, or folder. At least on all files complete, then you would know if you checked that folder just by browsing it.

A pop-up box that notifies completion would be more effective.

I dont agree at all, unless i miss your point. A empty folder or 0 byte file would reside in the folder in question at all times showing all files are ok. Of course it is up to the user to realize that if you move teh folder from disk to another it could be corrupted again. But that is something the user has to learn/know. It is this way now even if the progress bar is not there...

I too would like to see this. As a sfv file in a directory is being checked, if a file/directory could be created with progress(or final good/bad files), that would rock!

Me too! It's indispensable to have a persistent check result inside the dir. When one juggles with hundreds of repertories it is essential option.
Somethink like this when passed: [100% Complete]-[#30 files OK]
and when not passed: [80% Complete]-[#27 files OK - #2 Bads - 1 Missing]

BaDCaT

PS: I do not hide that I use CFAtest for this option and very rarely hkSFV

yes please add this option !
