I'm starting to consider buying a new CD Burner....

Here's the specs I'm looking for

External (USB2)
at least 48X
will work with laptop USB2 Card (need recommendations on this too)

All ideas will be appreciated.

The USB card looks good, but I'm thinking you could do better on the CD-RW drive.

It's not a name brand though, but check out best buy I was there tonight and I saw some that had mail-in rebates.
