mIRC has nothing to do with the fact that I use DALNet. It has to do with the fact that it's the only network that I know of that fully supports chanserv.

wats wrong w/ mirc? imo mirc is a good windows client, aside from the dcc exploit, i see nothing bad with it.

DALnet is a network of chat servers. Anyone can register a channel on DALnet. I have three registered: #l337, #blueshadowz, and #grazzt.

In 99% of cases no. The sever just has too many people trying to connect to it - which is a lot.

just cuz it isnt written for linux doesnt make it a bad program.... ALOT of software has bugs, yes, even linux applications. it all depends on the writer. theres such thing as human error and nothing is perfectly stable, theres always little things down the long, variable length road.
DALNET is an irc network, which has chanserv and nickserv. sadly they dont support hops. and anways, dalnet sux, the feds r all over the place (bad to some people) there and its been unstable lately
