After thinking "wow this is cool", and I'm glad it's gone... Now I don't have to worry about people logging onto my account, and having no way of knowing about it.

Yes... my friend did it to me last night. (and im only at 64% as of this post and it's been nearly 24 hours)

It appears they took off the warn limit of how many times you're allowed to warn someone(which is 3)

Can you prevent the stpid IM you get when you sign on in more than one location? I tried blocking "AOL System Msg" but the messge still gets through. If you sign on the screenname more than once from the same IP you don't get the message.

Put up a away msg on the instance you don't want IM to go to. If your away you could use your program (?) or middle_man to put up a away msg.

That only seems to wok for connections that are idle (not just away). (Note: the client notifies the server of your idle status whether or not the option enabled--at least it does in 4.

. Thanks for the idea though...I should just need to set my idle status.

Ok, so AOL has this new feature... Great.

But I've been getting these System messages all day, one every 10 or 20 minutes or so.

I paniced a little and changed my password, but I still get them.

More bugs in the system? I'm using DeadAim (cause AIM+ don't do aim5)

Use another SN, and see if you can catch the person... In the best case a SN that is on the "evil" SNs BL, but not under something like family or such...

If the person replies you know what's going on... If not then it may just be AOL.... Just make sure to be nice... Don't want to scare them away... And DON'T ask "Who is this?"... No one replies to those type of IMs.

I liked it best when it said "you cannot sign on because you are signed on at another location" then I couldn't sign on elsewhere, so I never had to worry about leaving my password stored.
