hey is there a way into getting your screen name password back....if persay you didn't verify your e-mail address

?

there are some key generators, AIM crackers, and stuff that are said to have worked, but so far i have yet to see anything that actually gets a password off AIM. But if you find out, let me know.

actually, it doesnt matter if your email was verified or not, as long as you registered with a valid email, you can still get password requests sent to it

well the screen name can be consider lost if the email address you used it no longer vaild. I perosnly would like a program that could do it but any long time memeber of the sit knows my reasons for wanting it but I would never give it out because of the evil pupose it coudl be used for

Ya... Easy as pie... You just have to tell everyone on your buddy list the new SN...

I have changed SNs several times... It is anything but easy... And I had the other SN still to tell everyone with... Almost a year later I still IM people from my old buddy list that I managed to not talk to, and they ask who I am....... And then bearing I don't want to clone, I have to prove who I am...

Very easy indeed.

I just e-mail a post to everyone, and they know, if i don't have there e-mail, i guess there just goin to have to find out another way.

Why would I have someone's email? I use IMs like email... Less SPAM to deal with that way... And since 90% of my buddy list have cable/dsl it works.

well, heres what i woudl do....

i would use a script similar to what 'MessageServer' does..... then just as soon as people that are on that BL are online, my old SN will IM those people and tell them about my NEW sn, and it will do it in intrevals, until they, for example, reply with "OK".... and i would be on my new sn all the while.

Well if you say i dont need to verify my e-mail address. Then how come it wont send to any of my e-mail addresses? And I'm not that stupid, I know i can make a new one. The reason this got about is that i reformated, and lost my saved pass. I usually dont save them, but i had to make a new pass. cuz it got hacked and i forgot the pass.

AH well what can you do?

p.s. it is my screen name not my friends...i'm not trying to get pass. for other ppl's sn!

Try using the pw you use for other things that you know it ISN'T...

he means, you a password that you have for other programs, and one that you know isn't for your SN.
