I need major help with my Aim+

I tried posting in the Help Area, but its Locked.

- Operating System Windows 95
- Version of AIM 5.2
- Steps: I just downloaded the software, and it doesn't even begin to install. The 2 errors occur:
1) Error Starting Program... The C:/MyDocuments/AIM+Setup.Exe appears to be corrupt. REinstall the file, and then try again.
2) Windows cannot run this program because it is an invalid format.

- I expected it to install and run...


Please, some one help me.

i will say this once.
aim+ works best with aim4.8 because that is what it was made for.
you would know that if you used the search button
so try to install aim 4.8 then reinstall aim+.
then you can come back with your problems. ok.

just a side-note...AIM versions greater than 4.8.2790 aren't even compatible with windows 95. and even if AIM worked...i doubt it worked reliably or correctly
