clone does not find the aim server

i have trouble signing on with the clone, it does not find the aim server. i am using winxp and the lastest version of both aim 4.8.2646 and aim+ 2.1.1. any suggestions?

hi,

i've already solved this problem and it had nothing to do with aim+. it had to do with another program called zonealarm. zonealarm sucks. if you have it on you will have to give programs permission to use the internet. but if its not running, new programs without permission cannot gain permission. just as a side note i would not recommend this product to anyone. it also freezes my system sometimes on startup.
