Big-O Realization?

Post by fuuucckkers »

I just thought of something, which I believe means there still may be hope for Big-O Software! :D

If both the developers, Mark and Ryan, "abondonded" their whole software deal... then how is this Website still active?

Think about it. If they didn't want to support their software anymore, don't you think they'd stop paying the Choopa.com hosting fees, and the Register.com Domain name fees and get this place shut down for good???

Obviously they haven't done that yet... which means their not in favor of just "giving up". Which also means they may come back.. to release new software as they've already said before. Or maybe even finally release that long awaited AIM+ v3? Who knows...

But it's just a thought.

What's everyone else's opinion on this?

I dunno honestly. I feel like we (or at least the moderators) deserve an explination. Sure, I know that life outside of stuff like this can be hectic, but even five minutes can be taken out just to say what's been going on. Aren't I right?

hkSFV 2.0 was always "almost done." AIM+ 3.0 was supposedly done. Anybody else noticing a trend here other than me? It seems that when things get almost done, nothing else becomes of it. It's like it gets to a certain point, and stops.

Anybody else notice that besides me?

yeah i remember i was at school and i checked the website everytime i was near a computer that day.... and then later that week my hopes being crushed and upset b/c aim+ didnt come out.

but ive been wondering the same thing... if they have abandoned this site wouldnt they have shut it down? i mean come on no matter how cheap it may be to host this site... if it is cheap at all its a waste of money if they have abandoned...

Hmmm...
Good point. They may have paid for the hosting/domain in bulk.. for a few years.

There isn't any "may" about it. They did. The domain still had like 4 years on it when AIM+ didn't come out.
