How to disable the "software upgrade recommended" message
Since today, everytime i sign on with any of my s/n's, i get the "software upgrade recommended" message up. It says i'm using an out of date version of aim and suggests i upgrade. I don't want to upgrade because it will not be compatible with AIM+. I have my auto upgrade preference on "final releases". Is there any way to stop this message from popping up every time i sign on?

You said you have your preference set to "final releases" ...
AIM 4.8 (or whatever version you have) is obviously not the most current version, therefore it's asking you every single time you sign on.. to upgrade because the newer versions are "FINAL RELEASES".
If you don't want it to pop up anymore, change the setting to something else. As Jrrtt37 said .. it's either Final, or Beta for your options. I also assume there's an option to completely turn it off.. but I don't know. I don't even use AIM.
