aim+history

I am so confused as to how to use aim history. do you have to be on aim to get histories. When I go to aim history it doesn't show anything

what version of aim are you using? and as far as I know, you do not have to be signed on to use the history.

this is in the wrong forum but who cares!!!
you have to use aim vs. 4.8
and you need to make sure logging is checked in the prefrences thing
and you need to make sure you arent selecting the buddys name where it says user name

you'll figure it out eventually
and try searching the forums for questions
you could get your answer faster that way

first of all, no need to post a second time just because I posted something short asking for info before assuming the aim version.

Some of what you said does make sense in her response, but just chill rokbass. You don't have to be the first to respond to everyone's problems, and you don't have to start typing like someone on a sugar high before having all info...

ok but where in preferences is the spot to click on logging. I cant find it anywhere. I am using aim 4.8

make sure your in AIM+ options, and not the normal AIM

if you dont have the plus sign on your buddy list, try right clicking on AIM on the task bar. There you'll see 'AIM+ preferences'.
