Ugly, bad shell integration.

in windows XP, simply highlight any standard file that will have hksfv's shell extension options. click "File" in the window's menubar. now click File a bunch more times (to open/close the dropdown menu). for every click you will see a duplicate "HKSFV" entry in the menu.
reproduced on more than one machine.

This problem has already been reported. A quick look about 12 posts down would've revealed that.

That's an old beta version. Pre- 2.0
Found it on the net which searching for a good AIM addon.
That's what brought me to this website in the firstplace... then I downloaded the current versions.
