A feature that would be EXCELLENT (for me it's necessary) for the audio archive community would be md5/sha-1 checksum generation and verification that only verifies/analyzes the AUDIO portion of files -- not the audio+tags (ID3v1, ID3v2, APEv2, etc.). This way, you can change tags, make necessary corrections, add replaygain, do anything you want, and the file will still pass unless damaged.
it would also make hksfv unique amongst the many checksum programs available.[/i]
