I'm using Windows XP. I did not install hkSFV explicitly, but I see the hkSFV menu when I click the right mouse button on a folder. It started to happen after I copied some files from another Windows XP computer which has hkSFV.

hkSFV is not showing at "Add or Remove Programs" and there is no hKSFV folder in the disk.

How can I remove hkSFV?

Install it, and then uninstall it...

And how do you not "explicitly" install something...

You either did or you didn't. It's not like some virus that self installs.

He copied files from another computer (probably including the ones that hkSFV uses for the context menu insertions). Installing, then uninstalling should fix that.
