Program crash on P4 in H/T mode
Program worked great until i started using it on my new P4 system , now it just crashes almost every time i create an SFV file (
Here's what error messages come up in Event viewer
The application, C:\Program Files\hkSFV\hkSFV.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 01/31/2004 @ 11:59:56.671 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 0042DD62 (hkSFV)
Faulting application hksfv.exe, version 2.0.1.84, faulting module , version 2.0.1.84, fault address 0x0002dd62.
My system:
OS: Windows XP Professional SP1
P4 2.6ghz in H/T mode
512mb Kingston PC3200 Ram
Gigabyte GA-8IG1000PRO Motherboard

Anytime you get errors such as the one described, it's actually due to the mismanagement of memory on the OSs part. It has nothing to do with the program.
And if anyone remembers Windows 95/98.... and the BSOD's that came along with it.. almost 95% of all those errors were memory related.
It's safe to say it's the same with XP... or any other M$ OS for that matter.

yea, well i just got a p4 2.4 ghz 533 mhz fsb 1 mb l2 cache on an asus ai series p4c800-e deluxe motherboard and 512 mb ddr ram and a 34x cd rw. all for $450
muhhahaha, i was on a low budget or else i would have gone for a dual 3.2 ghz xeon processor. but its still freakin better than my p2 400mhz.
