AIM 5.5

I just got an e-mail from Netscape advertising AIM 5.5. I can't find a thread around here about it yet.

The e-mails lists these new features:
- "Use all your screennames at once - no more signing on and off just to change your screenname"
= Sounds like cloning
- "Games - play head-to-head with someone you know, and IM while you play"
- "Video IM"

Has anyone tried this new version out? I am willing to switch if I can add on AIM+ just for the message archiving.

It has been discussed somewhere I'm pretty sure... I remember that much. I can't actually point you to a thread though... don't have time...

I'm not sure how well, if at all AIM+ works with 5.5

dont bother trying AIM+ for 5.5........ rather try middle man. It has the best message recording that i've[/u] seen.

its still in beta, but it records good
