I remeber when I final got my parent to get DSL for the house. It was in the fall of 2000 when my dad got it for the house. I can tell you once I learned the joys of High speed internet I could never go back to Dail up. It very nice. Right now I am using Tech T3 line but I would much rather be using the my homes DSL line. No stupid campus firewall to deal with and it a much faster connection for me at home. I do laugh at my friend Vogas because when he goes home he has Dail up while at school he has his campus T3 line....

For a while my mom though that broad Band was not really that much faster than Dail up and did not believe it was very noticeble. Then we go up to my grandparents that following summer and she reliezed how much faster DSL really was. She ask me why the sites where loading so slowly that at home where almost instanted. My answer is well Grandma and granddad are using dail up. She now says she will never go back to dail up

Woo... go DSL.

I've had cable for the last 5 years or so.
I'd never go back.

it's a BIG JOKE cause i have/had... the ol high speed kicker program, and all it does, is make the pictures on the internet look crapy so the pages come quicker, so you really have a smi-slow shitty pages to look at.
