Shortcut bar?

Post by sweeney »

I am a Windows user, but on occasion I use Macs. I have grown quite accustomed to the dock, and was wondering if there was a Windows program that does its job. I have the quick launch bar off my start bar, and on auto-hide, but it's not the same. MS Office used to have a shortcut bar, that was only as big as the shortcuts on it, and was on top..but they got rid of it in 2003, and I don't want to downgrade for such a simple feature.

A friend pointed me in the direction of a really good Mac dock clone. If anyone is interested it's named Y'z dock and is available here: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.ph ... 1037167525

I was going to use ObjectDock, I heard it was good, but unfortunately, the download is like 8 megs, and I'm on dial-up.
