deleted my files?

Post by hecktic »

I tried making an md5 file for a .wav file and it deleted the thing...

it made the md5 and said everything was ok but than it turned my 500mb wav file into a 120 byte file and now it wont work anymore...

is this program not supposed to work with .wav files or something? should I have converted it to .flac or .shn first?

this is upsetting now I have to redownload the stuff...

hkSFV doesnt delete files unintentionally..

and what the hell are you using a .wav file for? that file format went obsolete almost 5 years ago.

no it didnt.

wav file is one of the most used files that have an unlossy architecture.

ac3 is the next most used.

if i wanted a PERFECT copy of a track on a cd, it would get ripped into wav.

Hah. I wouldn't. Because a 4 minute song from a cd, would be almost 35megs.

If I wanted a lossless format, I'd rip it into OGG. But that's just me.
But then again.. you can't really hear the differences in MP3 rips, so what's it matter.

Saw that this morning. I've said it before....for all you want to talk about United and their international profile http://freeaudio.250free.com/, they really seem to do business the right way. I'm interested to see just how much Kenyon had to do with these results, so next year will be interesting.
