Sign on an ICQ number?

Is it possible to sign on an ICQ number with AIM? I've tried, but I get this error:
Unknown Error. Try again later.
Error catergory 1.
Error code 2.
I've tried changing the server I connect to to login.icq.com, but got the same error.

aim stopped the icq support some time ago.
i remember when it worked..... did it for a while, then realised i dont know anybody on icq
