Big-O Software

I can't post to the bugs section for some reason, so I'm posting here. I recently lost the Internet at the campus I work on, and just got it back. now, whenever I log onto AIM or AIM+, after a minute or 2, it automatically shuts down. anyone ever experience this?

I'm running:

Windows XP Pro
AIM+ 2.2.1
AIM 4.8
