On Jan 7 my ipod was "processing" and today it is "Sent to Vendor, Waiting on Product". The email I got said 4-6 weeks, but I'm thinking it'll be here earlier than that, right?
I'm gonna try and get a Sony tv next (I'm gonna be one of Harry's referrals) to hold me over until I can afford a DLP. My current is a 2000 27" regular Sony Triniton...not the flat screen...and the whole time I've had it, the picture geometry has been a little off :/ I didn't bother dealing with returning it or sending the damn heavy thing in for warranty because I got it open box for liek $150 less than regular at Best Buy. I think the reason it was returned was because it didn't have a coax input to hook cable/antenna into...because I knew about tvs, I just went to Radio Shack and bought the $2 plug and opened up the case, put it on, and voila!...saved $150 on a great tv. I have zero interest in a non-progressive scan tv at this point, but a free one (another Sony even) with correct geometry would at least hold me over.
