Stop Spam IMs or Bots

In the last couple months i have noticed that all the accept message pop ups that I have been getting have been from porn sites is there a way to or ignore any username that just sends a link as a message

Unfortunately, I've been receiving the same messages as well. The only way to really block these messages is to change your AIM privacy settings to allow only users on your buddy list to contact you. I'm not all that happy with that solution myself, as friends who change their screennames or just get AIM will not be able to contact me. It would be great to find a better way to block the spam.

Damn that is sad, those bots are annoying, but i liked meeting new people online. now i just ignore all the accept message popups
