AIM Print Screen

Post by jtnimoy »

Hi,

I am posting this because i want to see it eventually become an included feature on AIM+. In the meantime, the software I have written stands as its own semi-useless gimmic-ware. Contact me if you want my assistance / consultation.

Josh,

I haven't got a chance to play with it yet, but I plan to.

It looks nice - and well done. :)

Thanks!

I don't understand why one would want a photo in AIM.

Not that I'm knocking your product, but couldn't a regular printscreen (Alt + Print Scrn) do the same thing?

the difference i think is that this app copies the selected area and saves it to the clipboard as a compressed jpeg, not a raw bitmap as printscreen would do. That means when you paste a screen shot you'll have an 80k image instead of a 2mb image for example.

Forget aim, this seems like a nice feature that should be built into windows :)
