Can't you simply copy the history folder if you are going to uninstall or reformat? I've done that a couple times and just pasted back in. it didn't take much time.

Although not too difficult to do manually, I think this is a good idea. A history backup tool, as part of the AIM+ History Viewer, would probably be a useful addition. Every month or so (user definied variable?) or every 10 megs or so (again user defined?) AIM+ could autmatically zip up all the history directories and files into once nice, handy file per user name, and then remove the existing folders and create new ones as needed.

A feature like this would definitely save on clutter and space.
