Able to Close IM while sending file

when u use "send file" and u have their IM open, ur not able to close it while sending a file. its just annoying seeing that im open when im not even talking and just sending files. D:

This is something that has always annoyed me. I agree, this would definitely be a great feature and shouldn't be hard to implement. It would be nice to also be able to minimize file transfers to the system tray.

Something that would be really nice is if there was a progress meter on the file transfers. :D Maybe just have the percentage in the tray.

That is a great idea. I hate how when I'm transfering a file the window stays in the taskbar. Maybe have a static system tray icon for when you are transfering so you know the transfer is sitll going. A mouse over will tell you the progress of your transfer(s). Just a thought.

I REALLY do not like mouseovers, so here's my idea...

This might require creation of each system tray icon individually, though I'm not sure if you can just overlay text onto an icon. I would be willing to create an image map for AIM+ to read from for each percentage if necessary. Another solution would be to just show the number, although that isn't quite as aesthetically pleasing.
