I think AIM+ is an awesome product, but if you guys aren't coming out with a new version, then I have to try something else and I'll recomend it to others as well. Its called DeadAIM 3.0 and it works with the 4.8 and 5.+ versions of AIM. The program works within AIM so it does not use any additiona...

I also think it's definitely AOL even though Big-O denied that. This is the logic: if it wasn't AOL, then Big-O can release it even though there are harassments. Harassments have nothing to do with the release. A release means simply putting the EXE on the website. Harassments don't stop releases. ...

I felt compelled to type this up. It took about 20 minutes, so I hope you all can refer to it before posting anything else. All about the AIM+ happenings I'll put this in my sig as well. ;) I hope it helps! Bryan If you can edit that page you should add in a link to the conversation with Mark: http...

What about MyIM? I read up on that program and it has the same features as well. Does MyIM change the AIM original executable as well? Well MyIM, while also a pretty good program, does not work with AIM5, so if you're using 4.8 or an earlier version you might as wel just keep using AIM+. As far as ...

What is included in DeadAim? I went to the site, looked around, and downloaded/installed it, but nothing changed in my AIM... Anyone have any idea what's wrong with it? There's a new menu added to the My AIM menu...sadly DeadAIM does not log as you're typing so if you clear a window before you end ...

Re: sounds AOL related
Yea, but if AOL/Time Warner would pull a Metallica on Big-O, why aren't they going after everyone else who makes add-ons for AIM? Look at Trillian for example: does anyone know if they're being harrassed by the corporate machine? I'm not totally sure about AOL having anything to do with it. Yeah, I...

Nice of you to hype the release and then suddenly cancel it after the release date. Time to switch to DeadAIM or MyIM, I guess. Or maybe there's more to this than we know about and we should just leave them alone. They made a great program in the past, and we'd all love it if they could make more i...

I think you're right about the Trillian / AIM server issues here. That's why every once in a while Trillian stops working until a new version is released, but it's also why Trillian can do some pretty neat things that you simply cannot do through the regular AIM servers. However, I've been thinking...
