right-click desktop->properties->settings

if your laptop supports it, there will be a drop-down box with each display on it. select your displays and choose "extend my desktop to this display"

i agree with timeless on this one. AOL has put so much effort into making it permanent. every time someone finds a way to get rid of it they find another way to make it stay. i think its nnoying as hell but if you have enough away messages you wont even notice it.

aim+ has to clear th window to accurately record history. if you don't like it you can use middle_man (http://middleman.krunchsoftware.com) instead.

I ran m_m with AIM already running and it successfully created a clone and its running on the clone...Smilez suddenly decided to work too, but only on the clone. hmm...
