There's a problem with the search function in the one I gave you. You can probably fix it yourself, but if not I've fixed it and it'll be working in the next release.

Nothing as far as I know. I know the > is to send the output to a file. First of all, no that's not what it means. Okay here we go: C:\WINDOWS> that's the active directory you'll see at the prompt CD\APPS\WORD5 that's a command to change your active directory to APPS\WORD5 Basically, this is what y...

You don't need the service pack! Just search your hard drive for a file called "upldrvinfo.htm" (I think thats what its called) and rename it or delete it. Problem solved. It should be located here: \windows\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\upldrvinfo.htm Yes however if you ever need to use the online MS...

I found a program called actual title buttons that'll give any window an always-on-top capability. It'll also send any window to the system tray. Cool program...too bad it's not free.

Anyway, it'd be nice to be able to send message windows to the system tray as well.

Search online for the control you're missing and put in in your windows\system32 directory. It shouldnt be that hard to find. Edit: You'll need this: http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/install/6/Win98Me/EN-US/VBRun60.exe and probably this: http://www.graphic-converter.net/download/comdlg...

That should only happen if you try to open the viewer more than once. If you didnt have it open already, check the task manager (press ctrl-alt-del and choose task manager) for a running process called AIM+ History Viewer.exe. If it crashed previously, it may have failed to unload.

IE not being your default browser shouldn't be an issue. You said it crashes in the initial phase when it says "working". All it does at that point is read the subfolders in your log directory. So it should add a node to the tree for each screen name that has logged into AIM on your comput...

Anyway, I had some crashing with AIM history files, probably saved through AIM, which have the <BINARY> tag in them, so setting up something to ignore those might be a nice idea in case they get inserted
Send me a file or two that causes it to crash and I'll see if I can't fix it.

What's the syntax for aim:sendfile? I want to specify the file that's being sent. e.g. "C:\windows\desktop\file.txt".

I d/led the most recent version (2) and it still crashes with the same error. It crashes with "working" being displayed. I can actually load the program if I move all the AIM+ histories to another directory, leaving AIM+ History empty. It still crashes with the same error upon exiting. I ...

Looks good, thanks However the smilies only load if you put your history viewer (and included gifs) in the Aim+ folder. I downloaded it to my desktop to try it out and it assumes the files are where you're supposed to put them. This isn't really a problem but I just thought I'd let you know. Sorry,...
