i don't really know if this has been posted before. but has anyone noticed that the new aim beta puts a file in the task manager label 'aimwdinstall'? maybe this has always been there and i've just never realized it. does anyone know what it is and why it needs to be run? just out of curiousity. i don't like things running on my computer and me not knowing what the heck it's for.

haha, that was wrong. but yet (somehow) funny. sorry, mikezed. you can kill it by ending the task, yes, but when you restart you're computer it just starts back up again. i noticed too that i have something running called 'product id:'. i don't know what the hell that's for either. both of these things screw up my winamp when i have the avs in fullscreen. after i exit it the taskbar goes blank and ms office shortcut bar ends up in the middle of my screen, well, half of it anyway. after i go in and end both of those freakin' things. everything goes back to normal. i wonder if i run adaware if it will get rid of it?
