Also, your logic quite flawed. You have no idea what my hygene habits are, and even if you did, the "chances of contracting the flu" falling greatly doesn't have anything to do with me actually contracting the flu.

Okay lets make this clear:

You can be the cleanest person on this rock we call "Earth" but your going to get sick.... Unless you live in a bubble, because my friend... The flu is air born... So unless you have some way of keeping the air clean then it doesn't do a ounce of good in the big story...

Your real best bet is to be clean, and... HEALTHY (go figure). Healthy people don't get sick (yes they do but a lot less)...

Even then like I said... Your going to get sick once in a while...

i've never had the flu, despite being around a lot of people that have. i guess ill just consider myself lucky. i did get whooping cough (thank god you can only get it once). its a miserable experience...coughing til your thraot and lungs bleed, coughing til you vomit, then of course your throat is so swollen you cant inhale (literally can't inhale at all). then you try your hardest to inhale...eventually either you pass out or your throat opens up enough to let the tiniest bit of air through (in which case air goes blasting into your lungs making a god-awful sound...hence the name whooping cough). this happens 10 or more times a day. its very unpleasnt and lasts for weeks or even months. i had it for 6 weeks i think. its not nearly as common now as it used to be.
