I use it. I have given up on IE for the most part. I have not noticed if it is any faster than IE or not. Personly I find it to be about the same speed. I just happen to like tab browsing and not having to deal with some spyware.

The bigest problem I have with it is getting all the add ons it needs to do some stuff on some sites. Slowing getting all the plugins I need

Umm Thunderbird is a separt program. I am using Firefox but I dont have thunderbird installed. I did download thunderbird and looked at it. I found it was weak compared to outlook and it just lack some of the stuff I used outlook for.

I have never used mozilla so I dont know how firefox compares with it. but I can tell you that I am never going back to IE being my primary browers (I still have IE in my quicklaunch for those few times that I do need it)

nope They are still delepoting mozilla and there was a new release semi rescently I believe. Firefox is still a beta program and I believe that they plan on making it go 1.0 by xmas

Mozilla is a full suite of integrated Internet applications including a web browser, e-mail client, address book, web page composer, Internet chat software(IRC) and calendar application.
On the other hand.. Firefox is still BETA. Its even better than Opera..faster than IE. and it's a standalone product, seperate from Mozilla(the suite, and browser)

Also, to clarify more... Thunderbird is an email/newgroup client, again.. seperate from that of the Mozilla suite.

Does that straighten out the confusion?

So Thunderbird is not worth using, compared to outlook.

Another question:

With Thunderbird, can it pick up mail from standard yahoo accounts, and can yahoo accounts be done with a POP.
