Away VFD Alert

I'd like it to be able to have it display on my VFD when I get an away message and from who. If you could make it output to a text file...And have some type of formatting tags...I could do the rest.

VFD=Vacuum Fluorescent Display...Like an LCD...Mine is 2x20 characters...Here is a link http://impact9.org/vfd_resources.htm. They are pretty cool. If you made a text file with formatting tags...it could be implemented to work in software.

tahst kool, id liekt o get em one, and put on top of my moniter and mount it to the webcam mount if possible, it is a kool idea and it is bright enought to alert you
