I just use AIM for the ability to communicate. I don't use any of the "selling" features (unless you count smileys). I use AIM+ for the features that I need (i.e. logging)

thats about it really......
i dont block people, i never use direct connection (i just use my loader is sum1 wants to show me sumthin), and i never use the buddy alerts, or the talking feature, or even chatrooms, and of course not the games invitation thingy.

Do AIM+ features count too??

Lets see....

IMing (duh :P)
TXT messaging for my phone
Buddy icons
Typing indicator
Buddy alerts
Transparent windows (they fade all the way down when inactive) for both buddy list and IM windows
Logging

That's about all that I can think of at the moment.

Yea...I did the same....but that's kinda like a given, isn't it?

I really don't use the cloning feature--if I need to go on another screename, I just use the built-in AIM with Netscape. It's basic but it does the job. :)

I use practically everything that comes with both programs. I do not use the POP or the transparancy, though.
