Problem with away messages/buddy list

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to help. I have AIM Version 5.2.3292 and the newest version of Dead AIM as well. Anytime I put an away message up, my buddy list almost disappears. Everything is pushed up towards the top and you can't read anything. It's like everything is smushed together and all you see is "Your away message is on' across the buddy list - where the names should be. I know it's not that big of a deal, but it's kind of annoying. Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?

I don't have deadaim or AIM 5.2 but it sounds like a preference somehwere, most likely in deadaim

hey I've gotten that problem as well, try downgrading.

I haven't had that problem yet and I use DeadAIM 4.0 and AIM 5.2.3292.

I have tried downgrading, but it did the same thing. So I just downloaded 5.2.3292 again since it had the same problem anyway. I'd really like to know what the problem is though. It's strange.

Uninstall AIM Completeley, then I would say try 5.2.3139. If You Ask Me, I think 3139 is the most stable.

Well, I have similar problems with my buddy list as well; some of my windows won't allow me to move them to a certain extent across the buddy list. I think it's just a misshappening in the buddy list itself. (Believe me, you'll get used to it)
