History problem - NON AIM 5.x

My history is logged in the history viewer but it does not make html files in the folder I specified. It stopped three months ago and I never even realized it until now. I can still view recent history in the history viewer. I use AIM 4.8. What is wrong? I'd much rather have html files than history viewer.
