Aim+ registry setting error

Post by pjchc »

I would love to put this in the appropriate group but the group is locked. I've noticed that if you install AIM+ as, say, Administrator, on 2000, 2000 server or xp, and then log in as another user you get the following error:

"AIM+ Registry Settings corrupted.
This is probably caused by a bug in AIM+ - please report it."

Can someone please investigate?

It's because when you use AIM+ on any multi-user M$ OS.. you have to install it for each user. Otherwise you will get the error you told us. We're aware of this, and it's been reported long ago... never fixed, and never will be fixed. AIM+ is no longer in development, and the creators seemed to have abondoned their own community, but sadly ... we still come here to converse.

Good enough answer for you?
