look for 'ftp server' at http://www.download.com.com
Re: ftp
for a router you just need to forward the port that the FTP server is running on to your computerrokbass wrote:does anyone know of one of those ftp server programs that i can download to serve files on my hd?

Forward ports 20 and 21 TCP.
EDIT: it would be a good idea to setup your computer to use a static IP so that you don't grab a new one from your router at some point in time.
EDIT2: I currently use www.guildftpd.com but used to use serv-u....and am thinking about making a switch to another program that has its own service.
